It all starts with proper preparation
In this before picture, you can see that the walls are unfinished, there’s two different ceilings, and the partition wall barely conceals the washer and dryer.
A wall was added to create a separate room
The wall was insulated with sound deadening insulation - perfect for muffling music or movies inside and keeping out the noise of the washer, dryer and dehumidifier to hear those quiet conversations of a movie.
Mold resistant drywall used as an added precaution
